It's still a routine
We still sit around our sets to watch our programs, and tune into our favorite radio program in the morning on the drive to work/school. This is where the comparison lies, we still put aside our endeavors to fulfill our weekly or daily fix. It doesn't really matter what we watch, but i'm sure we all have that special show that we tune into every week. Back then, my Dad and I would listen to Bob and Tom on the way to school everyday. Now, it'll take something important for me to miss an episode of Entourage, Weeds, and Californication. These programs have become a part of our weekly or daily routine. So what has changed? Regulations on what can be seen during the day and night. Adult programs at night, and kids shows during the day. The family sitcom back then, to the numerous Reality TV shows today. So it all boils down to finding that one particular TV show that we'll make part of our routine. That's where the comparison lies between now and then.
